Self-service password reset (SSPR) gives people the ability to change or reset their password, with no administrator or help desk involvement. Typically, users open a web browser on another device to access the SSPR Portal. If a person is enrolled in SSPR, and their account is locked or they forget their password, they can follow prompts to unlock themselves and get back to work as described in How to Reset Your Password or Unlock Your Account. This ability reduces loss of productivity when a person can’t sign in to their device or an application. This document contains instructions for setting that up.
